<Description>
<DescriptionText><text>
The head dependent part of the total sub scan shift. The total sub scan shift
is the sum of "gc sss", "mode sssa" and "hdp sssa".
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
As the focus beam is used to find the edge of the plate, part of the sscan
shift is dependent on the head, not the rest of the system. This calibration
value is stored in the head nvs; therefore, when a head is swapped in the
system, the sscan shift adjust does not need to be modified on the MPE. In
practice you still need to check it by doing the inch grid plot and checking
the location with a measuring jig.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
Note that this used to be "gc sssa cal". For green heads, the parameter is
still "gc sssa".
